Established in 1890, Plainfield is a world-renowned country club steeped in tradition and history. The Plainfield Country Club golf course, brought to life by famed course architect Donald Ross, has been celebrated as a consistently top-ranked course in the U.S. by Golf Digest and Golfweek magazines, and has been enjoyed by Club members and guests for nearly 100 years. Over the decades, the Club has proudly hosted two U.S. National Championships – the 1978 U.S. Amateur (won by John Cook), the 1987 U.S. Women’s Open (won by Laura Davies), the 2011 Barclays (won by Dustin Johnson), 2015 Barclays (won by Jason Day) and numerous State and Regional Championships. Plainfield Country Club is currently ranked 24th on Golfweek's roster of America's Greatest Classic courses, 50th in the country by Golf Magazine and 78th in the country by Golf Digest on their list of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses. This item is for an accompanied round of golf for three.

A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive. The AJGA hosts 140 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships. Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing hcollins@ajga.org.

Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Items won that include specific dates such as PGA TOUR tickets or AJGA tournament dates can not be changed or altered. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member. Winners of auction items should read carefully the terms and conditions included with the particular item you're bidding on and the winner and where included, guests, must comply with all T's & C's listed. This can include dress code, travel dates, and other similar guidelines.
