The BMW Championship is arguably one of the most important events on the PGA TOUR schedule. This tournament is the second event of three in the FedExCup Playoffs. Similar to the St. Jude Championship, the BMW has no cut which allows all players to battle through four full rounds. Only the top 30 in the FedExCup rankings following the event will move onto the Tour Championship. Opening in 1991 to much acclaim, the course is nestled among rolling hills and farmland but is only 35 minutes from downtown Baltimore with easy access from the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Boasting 18 luxurious golf holes, an intimate clubhouse and locker room, and state of the art practice facilities. This private club is member-owned, and many have come to refer to their time there as the “Caves Valley experience.” The course, one of the stellar golf courses designed by Tom Fazio, has hosted numerous championship events over the years including the 2002 US Senior Open, the 2017 Senior Players Championship, and most recently the 2021 BMW Championship, part of the FedExCup Playoffs. In 2025, The BMW Championship is coming back to Caves Valley. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts 140 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing hcollins@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Items won that include specific dates such as PGA TOUR tickets or AJGA tournament dates can not be changed or altered. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member. Winners of auction items should read carefully the terms and conditions included with the particular item you're bidding on and the winner and where included, guests, must comply with all T's & C's listed. This can include dress code, travel dates, and other similar guidelines.
