The course underwent an extensive transformation by 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 in 2023, with expanded greens, new sandscapes and significant changes to the seaside finishing holes. The work earned Ocean Forest runner-up honors in Golf Digest’s 2024 Best Transformation recognition. Ocean Forest also possesses a distinguished championship pedigree. The club hosted the 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟏 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐩, where Great Britain & Ireland defeated the United States, and has long served as the home of the prestigious Jones Cup Invitational. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
