Opened in 2001 and designed by 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬, Briar’s Creek stretches across nearly 900 acres along the Kiawah River, where marshes, wetlands, native vegetation and wildlife define the experience. The course was renovated in 2020 by Jones and Steve Weisser, including extensive bunker work and improvements to tees, fairways and greens. Golf Digest currently ranks Briar’s Creek 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟕 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 for 2025-26. The private layout is known for dramatic shots across and alongside the Lowcountry marshes, with the finishing holes playing against the Kiawah River. The package also includes 𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 at the club, completing a memorable day at one of the Charleston area’s distinctive private golf destinations. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
