Experience two of Chicagoland’s most historic private golf clubs with 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 and 𝐒𝐤𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, combining major-championship pedigree, Golden Age architecture and access to two clubs deeply woven into American golf history. At 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, the winning group will enjoy a member-accompanied round on 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏. Founded in 1924, Medinah has developed one of the most recognizable championship legacies in American golf, hosting three U.S. Opens, two PGA Championships, the 2012 Ryder Cup, the 2019 BMW Championship and the 2026 Presidents Cup across its storied property. At 𝐒𝐤𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 in Glencoe, golfers encounter a classic course shaped over generations by an extraordinary collection of Golden Age architects, including 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰, 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬, and 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝. Founded in 1897, Skokie has hosted the 1909 Western Open (Willie Anderson), 1922 U.S. Open (Gene Sarazen), and 1952 Women’s Western Open (Betsy Rawls), and it frequently hosts the Western Amateur (2010, 2017, 2025, 2030). As a founding member of the Western Golf Association, the Evans Scholarship Foundation, and the Chicago District Golf Association, Skokie remains one of the most respected private layouts in the United States. With rounds at two of the Chicago area’s most historic private clubs, this package offers an outstanding opportunity to experience two very different chapters of Chicago golf history in one trip. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
