Several of the club’s namesake bridges carry golfers across valleys and the Escondido Creek ravine, while elevated portions of the property provide long-distance views toward the Pacific. The design holds special significance even within Jones’ extensive portfolio. Reflecting on the project, Jones has called The Bridges 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦’𝐬 𝟐𝟖𝟓 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬, citing the way the routing works naturally through the property’s lowlands, bluffs and ravines. This is a rare opportunity for three golfers to experience a highly ranked private club in one of California’s most exclusive golf communities and a course its own architect considers among the finest achievements of his career. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive. The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships. Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder.
