Opened in 1989, Sycamore Hills was routed across a former private estate featuring mature trees, rolling terrain, existing lakes and the winding Aboite River. Nicklaus used those natural elements to create a diverse collection of holes blending strategic, risk-reward and target golf. Golf Digest currently ranks Sycamore Hills 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟒𝟐 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 and 𝐍𝐨. 𝟒 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 for 2025-26. The club has also built an impressive championship résumé, hosting the USGA Women’s State Team Championship, multiple Junior PGA Championships, the 2013 U.S. Girls’ Junior and three editions of the Web.com Tour’s Hotel Fitness Championship. Most recently, Sycamore Hills hosted the 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 in the spring of 2026. This package gives four golfers the opportunity to experience the nationally ranked Nicklaus design while also enjoying a $𝟕𝟓 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 to spend during their visit on food, beverages or merchandise from the club’s golf shop. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
