Experience one of New Jersey’s great classic private clubs with a 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 in Deal, complete with lunch at the club. Golf Digest currently ranks Hollywood 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟔𝟑 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 and 𝐍𝐨. 𝟕 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐲 for 2025-26. Established in 1898, Hollywood’s championship course was transformed by legendary architect 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐉. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬 in 1917. The course is particularly celebrated for Travis’ elaborate bunkering, which Golf Digest describes as some of his most ambitious architectural work. 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐨𝐚𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 completed a restoration in 2014 that returned the course closer to Travis’ original intent. Less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, Hollywood has also built an extensive championship history, hosting events including the 1921 U.S. Women’s Amateur, multiple Met Opens and the 2014 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur. This is a rare opportunity to experience one of America’s nationally ranked private courses and one of Walter Travis’ most celebrated designs. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you have paid for any auction items that you won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery.
