Perched high above the Hudson River in Westchester County, 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 combines Golden Age architecture, dramatic terrain and sweeping views of the Hudson Valley into one of the most distinctive private golf experiences in the country. Golf Digest currently ranks Sleepy Hollow 𝐍𝐨. 𝟓𝟐 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 and 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟎 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤 for 2025-26. The course traces its roots to 𝐂.𝐁. 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 and 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐫, with additional work later completed by 𝐀.𝐖. 𝐓𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐭. Beginning in the mid-2000s, 𝐆𝐢𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞, 𝐉𝐢𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫 and Macdonald historian 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐭𝐨 led an extensive restoration that revived the course’s Macdonald character and introduced celebrated template concepts including Eden, Knoll, Leven and Road holes. Sleepy Hollow is also renowned for its spectacular setting. The course unfolds across more than 300 acres of rolling terrain, ridges, rock outcroppings and ravines above the lower Hudson River, with the famous par-3 16th and its thumbprint green providing one of the club’s signature views. The club most recently hosted the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐫, adding another chapter to its championship history. This exclusive opportunity gives three golfers the chance to experience one of the fastest-rising and most celebrated courses in American golf. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you have paid for any auction items that you won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery.
