Located in Belleair on Florida’s Gulf Coast, 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 combines the character of classic golf architecture with the polish of a modern private club. The property traces its golf history to a 1925 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬 design at the former Belleview Biltmore Resort before being transformed into Pelican Golf Club and extensively redesigned by 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠. Welling’s design draws inspiration from the property’s Donald Ross roots, using strategic fairway bunkering and small, elevated greens to create demanding angles and thoughtful shot choices. The course can stretch to approximately 7,000 yards and plays to a par 70. Pelican has also become one of the premier stages in women’s professional golf as the home of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐀 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧, an annual LPGA Tour event that has featured champions including Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu and Linn Grant. The tournament returns to Pelican in November 2026. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
