St. Louis Country Club stands as one of the Midwest’s most historically significant and architecturally distinctive private clubs. Designed by Charles Blair Macdonald with assistance from Seth Raynor and completed in 1914, the course draws inspiration from the great links of the British Isles through celebrated template concepts such as the Redan, Alps, Biarritz and Punch Bowl. The result is a strategic, imaginative layout that remains one of the finest surviving examples of Macdonald’s work. The club’s championship history includes the 1921 U.S. Amateur, the 1925 U.S. Women’s Amateur, the 1947 U.S. Open and the 2014 Curtis Cup. The 1947 U.S. Open was particularly memorable, with Lew Worsham defeating Sam Snead in a playoff during the first U.S. Open to receive television coverage. Currently ranked No. 1 in Missouri and No. 121 among Golf Digest’s 2025-26 ranking of America’s 200 Greatest Courses, St. Louis Country Club offers a rare combination of architectural pedigree, championship history and timeless private-club atmosphere. This exclusive experience invites three guests to join a St. Louis Country Club member for a hosted round, followed by a meal and drinks at the club. Experience Includes: - Golf for three guests at St. Louis Country Club - Round accompanied by a member host - Drinks following golf Note: - Mutually agreeable date - Subject to member/club availability and scheduling - Must be redeemed by 12/31/27 or subject to forfeiture.

A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive. The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships. Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
