Few clubs in American golf carry the history and stature of Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio. Designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1916, Scioto has long stood as one of the game’s most important championship venues. The club has hosted the 1926 U.S. Open, 1931 Ryder Cup, 1950 PGA Championship, 1968 U.S. Amateur, and both the 1986 and 2016 U.S. Senior Open, with another U.S. Senior Open scheduled for 2026. It is also famously known as the childhood club where Jack Nicklaus learned the game. Today, Scioto remains one of the most respected private clubs in the country, ranked No. 5 in Ohio by Golf Digest for 2025-26 and included among the state’s courses in Golf Digest’s top 100 nationally recognized group. For any serious golfer, a day at Scioto is a chance to experience a club defined by championship pedigree, timeless design, and a place in the very center of American golf history. This exclusive opportunity includes golf for three guests accompanied by a member host at Scioto Country Club. Note: - Mutually agreeable date - Subject to member/club availability and scheduling - Must be redeemed by 12/31/27 or subject to forfeiture
A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you have paid for any auction items that you won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery.
