Official club and USGA materials note that Merion has hosted 19 USGA championships, more than any other golf course in America, a distinction that speaks to both its architectural brilliance and enduring place in the game’s highest tier. Compact in scale but immense in stature, the course is celebrated for its strategic sophistication, storied heritage, and unmistakable sense of place. For any serious golfer, a day at Merion is not simply a round of golf. It is an opportunity to walk one of the most important and iconic grounds in the sport. This exclusive opportunity includes golf for three guests accompanied by a member host at Merion Golf Club. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive. The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships. Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder.
