“This piece was inspired by the first time I walked down 18 at Pebble Beach when I was 15 years old. I remember looking out at the Pacific and feeling completely overwhelmed by beauty, by gratitude, and by the magnitude of the dream I was living. I actually cried. Influenced in part by Werner Bronkhorst’s perspective and scale, I wanted the figures to feel small against something vast — the ocean, the moment, the calling. The textures, movement and bits of gold mirror how that walk felt: emotional, powerful, and magical.” - Rachel Heck Details: 24x30 acrylic and modeling paste on gallery wrapped canvas Note: Painting to be shipped and insured directly from Rachel Heck.
A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you have paid for any auction items that you won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery.
