Founded in 1903, Inverness Club stands as one of America’s most storied and respected private clubs. Designed by legendary architect Donald Ross, the course reflects a timeless commitment to strategic design, championship challenge and walkable beauty. Over more than a century, Inverness has remained true to its heritage while thoughtfully evolving to meet the modern game, most recently through restoration efforts led by acclaimed architect Andrew Green in both 2017 and 2024. Inverness Club has long been a stage for golf’s greatest moments, having hosted multiple national championships, including four U.S. Opens, the U.S. Amateur, U.S. Senior Open, and the Solheim Cup. With the upcoming 2027 U.S. Women’s Open and the 145th U.S. Open in 2045, the Club’s legacy as a championship venue continues to grow, reinforcing Toledo’s place on the global golf map. From legends of the game to rising stars, Inverness has welcomed generations of competitors who have shaped the history of golf. Beyond its championship pedigree, Inverness Club is deeply rooted in tradition, camaraderie, and community. Known for its warm hospitality and unwavering commitment to excellence, the Club offers an experience that is both classic and enduring. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive. The AJGA hosts over 150 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships. Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing pclarke@ajga.org.
