The Misquamicut Club in Watch Hill, Rhode Island has a rich history that includes many notable people and contributions. In 1895, William P. Anderson and William A. Procter, both prominent Cincinnatians, founded the club. Then in 1923, the course was remodeled by Donald Ross after the club purchased additional land. The Misquamicut Club is said to be one of the most exclusive clubs in Rhode Island and is a top 100 course in the nation. The holes visible from Misquamicut Beach epitomize American coastal golf and are views you certainly do not want to miss! This item is for an accompanied round of golf for three at The Misquamicut Club.
A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts 140 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing hcollins@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member.
