Here is a great opportunity to play alongside former AJGA star Jackson Van Paris. He was a two time Invitational Winner during his time playing AJGA events. Following his junior career, Jackson went on to play at Vanderbilt University where he is now a senior. During his career at Vanderbilt, Jackson has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and as a Junior was name to the All SEC Second Team. Meandering up and down the rolling hills, through the long leaf pines, and around the picturesque lakes of CCNC are two exceptional and challenging golf courses. Both Dogwood, a 33-year member of Golf Digest's Top 100 courses list, and Cardinal are perennially ranked high in the state by the North Carolina Golf Panel (2024 #3 and #12), and the highest ranked of all private, member-owned courses in the Sandhills. The CCNC golf courses have long been heralded as outstanding tests of championship golf. Long-standing relationships with the United States Golf Association, Carolinas Golf Association, and the Southern Golf Association have led to the hosting of many of their great championships. Victors at CCNC include the likes of Jack Nicklaus (U.S. Professional Match Play Championship), Ben Crenshaw (Southern Amateur), Hal Sutton (U.S. Amateur), and longtime CCNC member Webb Simpson (Southern Amateur). That legacy was most recently added upon with the 73rd playing of the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in July of 2021, the Club's third USGA national championship. The next champions to be crowned at CCNC will be at the 2023 ACC Conference Championships. This item is for an accompanied round of golf for three (includes golf only). Date determined by player and course availability. Due to its unique, nature this item may be extended through 2026.
A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts 140 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing hwaits@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Items won that include specific dates such as PGA TOUR tickets or AJGA tournament dates can not be changed or altered. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member. Winners of auction items should read carefully the terms and conditions included with the particular item you're bidding on and the winner and where included, guests, must comply with all T's & C's listed. This can include dress code, travel dates, and other similar guidelines.
