Founded by Carey Salt tycoon Emerson Carey, alongside his four sons, and with a course designed by Perry Maxwell, Prairie Dunes Country Club opened in 1937 with 9 original holes. Twenty years later in 1957, Press Maxwell continued his father's vision and completed the course, taking advantage of the natural flow of the sand dunes and allowing the native desert prairie grass to add another layer of difficulty at times. Prairie Dunes is a top 25 course in the Nation and has since become a destination course for golfers worldwide. From hosting United States Golf Association tournaments, the NCAA Division 1 Men's Golf Championship, and having been consistently rated a top course in the US, North America, and worldwide, Prairie Dunes is a must-play course. This item is for one night stay at the club in three rooms and an accompanied round of golf for three. Valid April to October 2025.

A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive. The AJGA hosts 140 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships. Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing hcollins@ajga.org.

Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member.
