The ultra modern and sophisticated city attracts worldwide travelers, making the area the No. 1 visitor and leisure destination in Texas. Deep in the heart of Texas lies American Airlines Center, one of the nation’s top arenas. Built in 2001, the AAC is a premier sports and entertainment arena that’s home to both the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. Its unique versatility makes it an ideal place to enjoy both sports and concerts under the same roof. And the food scene inside is pretty awesome too. Grab a bite to eat at the dozens of eateries in the arena including fan favorites like DBQ for all your BBQ cravings or go for the classics like nachos, specialty hot dogs and beer at Big D Dogs + Brews. There's never a dull moment here! The Stars franchise played its first game in Dallas in front of a sellout crowd on Oct. 5, 1993 and are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League. Since their arrival, the Dallas Stars have made 18 postseason appearances and captured eight division championships, two Presidents’ Trophies, and won the Stanley Cup making them one of the most successful sports franchises in Dallas. Their continued success on the ice and in their community has grown deep roots and fostered a true love for the game of hockey in Dallas, Texas. This package includes: - 2 tickets to a mutually agreed upon Dallas Stars game - 2 night stay in 2 rooms at a local Dallas hotel - Dinner at a local restaurant
A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts 140 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing hwaits@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery.
