Wonderfully designed by renowned course architect Tom Fazio, you'll enjoy 18 holes of golf at the No. 17 ranked course in Texas. The Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club offers players a true championship-level test of golf. A familiar location for many, the Tournament (formerly TPC at The Woodlands) hosts the annual PGA Tour Champions Insperity Invitational as of 2008; before that, it served as the long-time home of the Shell Houston Open. Winding through the village of Grogan’s Mill, the Tournament features breathtaking lake views, forced water carries, natural tree lines, and pristine Bermuda fairways. It’s widely regarded as one of the finest courses both in the Houston area and in Texas more broadly. It’s widely recognized as one of the finest and most loved courses in the state of Texas. A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts 140 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing hcollins@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Items won that include specific dates such as PGA TOUR tickets or AJGA tournament dates can not be changed or altered. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member. Winners of auction items should read carefully the terms and conditions included with the particular item you're bidding on and the winner and where included, guests, must comply with all T's & C's listed. This can include dress code, travel dates, and other similar guidelines.
