The winner of this auction item is getting 36 holes of golf and the opportunity for a guided tour of Club Car's golf manufacturing facility in Evans, GA. Enjoy 18 holes of golf at Augusta Country Club, founded in 1899 with a long and storied history that ties it to the city of Augusta, GA and another famous club that shares the famous Rae's Creek. Lush fairways, spectacular greens, and a clubhouse full of southern charm. The winner also gets a second round of golf at the nearby Champions Retreat. This exclusive club has 27 holes of golf and in recent years has hosted the opening rounds of the Augusta National Women's Amateur. Challenging holes set in a natural setting, the winner and guests will enjoy the day with the host member. Should the winner and guests desire, you will be taken on a guided tour of the Club Car world headquarters including all the latest in small vehicle technology and view the assembly of state of the art golf, commercial, and consumer vehicles. Option: The winner and guests can select to add to this item lodging at the beautiful Champions Retreat and access to the clubhouse for meals. This is not included but the host member has made it an option and all charges for lodging and F&B will be charged to the winner upon departure. Specific guidelines for guests at the respective golf clubs will be provided once the auction winner has confirmed dates.
A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts 130 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing foundation@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Items won that include specific dates such as PGA TOUR tickets or AJGA tournament dates can not be changed or altered. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member. Winners of auction items should read carefully the terms and conditions included with the particular item you're bidding on and the winner and where included, guests, must comply with all T's & C's listed. This can include dress code, travel dates, and other similar guidelines.
