This auction item you are bidding on is for an unaccompanied guest foursome on at one of the most prestigious golf clubs the Midwest. Located in Oak Brook, Illinois, access to anyone traveling to play is relatively easy from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The course is a tough challenge and while relatively flat, it’s tree-lined fairways require solid golf shots. The course opened in 1972 and was originally designed by George Fazio. Some restorative enhancements have been done by Tom Fazio, giving Butler National a distinct look and feel of the famous Fazio traditions. The club maintains very strict rules for guests regarding dress code, use of phones, and access to the facilities. The winning bidder will receive all appropriate rules including dress code, fees (if any), and other pertinent information during the tee time booking process. The tee time must be coordinated by the winner through the AJGA.
A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive.
The AJGA hosts 130 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships.
Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing foundation@ajga.org.
Item delivery: After you've paid for any auction items that you've won, the event organizer will contact you to coordinate delivery. Auctions won that include golf at private clubs will be coordinated through the AJGA in partnership with the private club and/or the hosting member. Winners of auction items should read carefully the terms and conditions included with the particular item you're bidding on and the winner and where included, guests, must comply with all T's & C's listed.
