Collin Morikawa credits his adidas apparel and footwear as a jumping off point for his success in majors—the Claret jug in 2021 being his second win to go with the 2020 PGA. This special player edition of the Adidas ZG21 golf shoe commemorates Morikawa’s 2021 victory at The Open Championship. Be one of a very few to own these shoes, signed by Collin himself. The special edition ZG21 design features a white outsole complemented by a camo pattern lining the outsole and the bottom of the shoe. The colors within the camouflage are meant to reflect the green, gray and sage tones that define links golf in Scotland. There are other key details hiding within the design that honor the defending champion. On the insole of one shoe, there’s a graphic of five golf tees, because Morikawa carries five tees in his pocket at all times during competition. On the other shoe’s insole is “150,” a nod to this year’s playing of the Open at St. Andrews. “I loved it. It’s an honor, it really is. I’m really grateful that adidas was able to do this and commemorate my win and match the design with my full outfits all week. You know, I like to look amazing head to toe, and we were able to pull that off”, said Morikawa about the ZG21.

A note from American Junior Golf Association: The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. We are raising money to support junior golfers who lack the financial resources to compete in national golf events. All funds raised from this auction will be used to provide scholarships allowing these juniors and their families to get reimbursed for travel related expenses, tournament fees, equipment, and other expenses related to being competitive. The AJGA hosts 130 tournaments a year and college coaches, equipment suppliers, and sponsors are invited to each event giving these juniors a chance to display their skills and earn college scholarships. Every dollar raised through this auction will go directly back to the juniors and our Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant. Tax receipts will be sent to the winning bidder. Questions can be directed to the AJGA by emailing foundation@ajga.org.
